Prusa Integration
Printago connects to Prusa printers over your local network through PrusaLink, the HTTP API built into modern Prusa firmware. The connection runs through the Printago Fuse LAN client, with no cloud account or extra hardware required.
Any Prusa printer that exposes PrusaLink works, including the MK4 / MK4S, MK3.5, CORE One, XL (single and multi-tool), and MINI / MINI+. Before you start, install and activate Printago Fuse on a computer or Docker host on the same network as the printer.
Before You Start
- Enable PrusaLink on the printer. On most models it's on by default; confirm under Settings → Network → PrusaLink.
- Find your PrusaLink credentials. The username (usually
maker) and password are shown on the printer under Settings → Network → PrusaLink. - Find the printer's IP address under Settings → Network → Wi-Fi/Ethernet. Set a static IP or DHCP reservation in your router so it doesn't change.
Connect Through Fuse
- In Fuse, open the Printers page and click Add a printer.
- Choose Prusa, then select your model (MK4, CORE One, etc.).
- Fill in the connection details:
- Printer Name — a friendly name (e.g. "Workshop MK4")
- Host / IP Address — the printer's IP (e.g.
192.168.1.100) - Port —
80(the default; only change it if you've remapped PrusaLink) - Username — typically
maker - Password — the PrusaLink password from Settings → Network → PrusaLink
- Click Test Connection to confirm Fuse can reach the printer.
- Click Add Printer. The printer model is detected automatically from PrusaLink telemetry and the printer appears in your Printago fleet within a few seconds.
PrusaLink credentials are stored only by your local Fuse client to talk to the printer; they are never sent to the Printago cloud.
What You Can Do
Once connected, your Prusa printer behaves like any other printer in Printago:
- Slice in the cloud and send jobs straight to the printer
- Route print jobs across your whole fleet automatically
- Monitor temperatures, progress, and status remotely
- Manage it alongside the rest of your fleet, whatever the brand, from one dashboard
Troubleshooting
If the printer won't connect:
- Verify the printer is powered on and on the same network as Fuse.
- Confirm the IP address hasn't changed (use a DHCP reservation to keep it fixed).
- Double-check the PrusaLink username and password under Settings → Network → PrusaLink.
- Make sure PrusaLink is enabled and the printer's firmware is up to date.
- Use Test Connection in the Add Printer dialog to see the specific error.
